Steve began his courtship of words much the same as anyone else: as a four year old stubbornly refusing to read aloud the word smile. Perhaps that foreshadowed an introversion that would later foster a growing relationship with a paper audience. At least until he lost his notebooks and met a typed audience.

 

He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two children. When not writing, he enjoys being a Snapple cap filled with useless knowledge and an affinity for orange juice, '90s rock, and Oxford commas. And he has, on occasion, been known to smile.
